First Christmas

It was a great Christmas with Lucky and the family. Dad flew in from Rhode Island and spent his first Christmas in Colorado with his first Grandson.

Dad, step away from the baby.
Rebecca's Mom and Step-Dad, Doug, hosted their annual Christmas Eve Party and rumors quickly spread of a possible Santa visit.

Ok, if any of you see me wearing this outside the house, I authorize a pimp-slap.

Newborn Pictures (Sneak Peek)

Here's just a sneak peek at our newborn pictures. We hired a very talented photographer, Olivia Navarro, who took some great shots at 1 week. Olivia was awesome and spent about 2 hours with us taking all kinds of photos. Below is a little preview she sent us. Once all the pictures are completed we will give everyone the web address where you can custom order any print.

Bath Time!

Well it's been a while since we updated the site, so we are posting a few new blogs to catch up. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Thanks to all our friends and family who sent cards, messages, and emails. We are still trying to get back to you all.
He is not liking the looks of this all ready!
Well maybe it's not that bad.....
On second thought.....

Welcome Luciano!

Well he finally made it! Luciano Conti Taraborelli came into this world at 9:59pm on Friday, 7 December 2007. He weighed in at 6lbs 2oz and was 20.5 inches long. It was a long 9 months and we feel so blessed that our little guy made the long journey safely and is now in our arms. Luciano was born at home with the help of our Midwife, Jessica, and her assistant Heather. They were an amazing team and we thank them.

As soon as Luciano came out, he was put into Rebecca's arms for some bonding. I was still in awe of what just took place.

Jessica gave Luciano a clean bill of health

Shortly after, the family came in to meet their newest member. Luciano's home-birth was an unforgettable experience and we were happy to share that day with our family.

Mom and her new grandson

The next morning was heavenly. We have waited so long to hold this little shrimp.
